HVAC TYPES

HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems don't have to be complicated, but there are several types and the more you know the better. 

• Split System, consist of a outdoor condenser, compressor and an indoor system that houses the evaporator coil and the blower that is connected to all the duct work and vents.
• Hybrid Heat Pump System, similar to a split system, but the heating function uses an alternate energy source when in heat mode, such as natural gas rather than electricity.  These systems provide cooling as well.
• Ductless Mini-Split System, a system that has no duct work and is for small spaces or multiple zones each have a mini system all connected to a single compressor and condenser system outside.
• Packaged Heating and Air System, these are the all in one systems you see most often on the roof.  they have all the components together.

SERVICE
